PvP Team Arena Monk Build
http://gwshack.us/0b08c
This is my monk build. I use it in Team Arenas.
The key here is DONT OVER HEAL. And use Heal Parties if you are out of range.
Flame all you want. I eat it for breakfast

Heal Party is trash in TA. I don't think I need to explain why.. Swap that for something else.

If you switch it for almost anything else it'd be fine...more hex removal..maybe more condtion removal? Healing touch....?
I don't play a healing monk much.
Some more points in Inspiration magic wouldn't hurt either.

Maybe reveal hex. Cant sacrafice healing for energy, a good monk doesnt need e-management skills. Never over heal.

Yea, the wonders of a heal monk end after you get knock-locked by a Shock Axe or a Hammer and easily killed cuz you dont have a hope of healing yourself.

Pretty good build, I'll have to use it sometime. But I don't really like the Heal party, It just doesn't work good enough... about the range problem.... Just stay in range so you can keep healing with good healing skills, it isn't that hard :P

Since the moderator decided to delete part of my commentary, let me restate in a more amenaible fashion my beliefs.
Your build for PvP (esp. TA/RA) is ineffective and will lead to a quick and sudden defeat. Just a heads up for new monks out there reading this thread in search of a good build. This build may work in PvE, but almost anything does IMO.
Why?
1)Eneregy Management is a must.
2)You will be targeted so you need better self heals than orison.
3)You can't hope to hang back anda cast heal party freely. Any decent team, hell even a horrible team will go straight for the monk, which in this case is you.
4)I can't honestly take the op seriously when he states this build works in TA. Maybe he meant AB? It wouldn't even fly in RA.
facts are the facts
